Advice for Road Runners: Looking for all black stability running shoes? The Brooks Women's Adrenaline GTS 23 in the Black/Black/Ebony colourway is a great choice. These triple black running shoes are stylish and practical.

Underfoot Feel

The Brooks Women's Adrenaline GTS 23 features an updated midsole foam. Even though the latest foam is just as soft as the previous version, DNA LOFT v2 is lighter. You should expect a soft and protective underfoot feel.

GTS means Go To Support. To explain further, the walls of the midsole rise up to form GuideRails. While you're unlikely to feel these, they keep your knees and hips in better alignment. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 features the same support level as the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22.

Upper Fit

The all black upper of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 running shoes is light and breathable. One of the reasons this Brooks model is so popular is down to how it fits. Lots of runners find it holds their ankle well, and feels spacious in the toe box.

Ideal Run Type

If you prefer a darker running shoe, or need an all black style for work, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 is a good option. As the midsole feels soft and comfortable, it should feel great for anything from brisk commutes to long steady runs.

In our experience, the holistic GuideRail support tends to work for runners who are prone to knee and hip discomfort, particularly in long runs.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.

Brooks Run Happy Promise: Take your Brooks gear for a 90-day trial run. Put it through its paces and sweat in it as much as you want. If you are not 100% satisfied, return it to us for free.
